Admission for EYFS (reception) Children each September
The closing date for applications for a reception school place for your child is 15th January. If your child has an EHCP, then the closing date is 31st October.

National offer day takes place in April and parents are notified by Telford and Wrekin Council if they have been offered a place at our school. We contact families by email in May/June with our admissions information and create a new folder (below) with forms and further information.
Open Days for EYFS Starters
We will be holding 4 open days for prospective parents to view the school (reception intake 2024-2025). The open day will consist of a small presentation in the hall followed by a tour of the school and will last around 45 minutes. No need to book in advance, just turn up on the day! Please park on the road and walk to the pedestrian entry gate (left hand side) where our Head Teacher, Mrs Butler, will meet you at 9:45am. We look forward to seeing you.

In-year transfers
If you are thinking of sending your child to our school as part of an in-year transfer, please complete the Telford and Wrekin Council In Year Transfer form which is on their website (link below). The Admission's Department will notify parents of the outcome of their application.

In all year groups, places are offered to applicants in order of the published over subscription criteria detailed in the primary school booklet on Telford and Wrekin Council's website, and as per our current Admissions Policy.
Admissions for secondary schools (Y6 to Y7 transfer) each September
The closing date for applications for a school place for your child (via T&WC website) is 31st October for Y7 secondary places.

Dothill Pre-School and Childcare
Dothill Pre-School and Childcare is based on the school site and offers before school, after school, and holiday care for our primary school children, as well as offering pre-school care for children aged 2-4. Please click on the following link for more information and contact details.
