Welcome to you if you are visiting our school.
We love to have visitors at Dothill and we want you to feel a warm welcome. To make your visit run smoothly here is some information that will help.
Booking an appointment - we would always advise that you book an appointment as this will ensure that you are in the diary and that the office staff are expecting you. This is part of our safeguarding procedure in school. It also ensures that the person that you need to see is available.
Arrival by car - as with most schools, we have limited parking on site. We would ask that you park on Severn Drive and walk up the pedestrian path on the left hand side of the school drive. Please ring the bell to let us know you are here and who you are visiting.
For disabled parking - during school hours, we have two designated parking spaces within the school staff car park. Please use the intercom at the vehicle gate to speak to a member of the admin team who will give you access.
Arrival on foot - please walk up the pedestrian path on the left hand side of the school drive. Please ring the bell at the gate to let us know you are here and who you are visiting.
At the office - please give your name to the office staff and show any appropriate ID. You need to know that if you have a mobile phone with you the office staff will ask you to turn it off while you are in the building. If you prefer you can leave your phone with the office staff for safe keeping. You will be signed in and given a lanyard to wear at all times while in school. This helps the children and staff to know that you are an official 'safe' person. We will ask you to be aware of our safeguarding procedures and will give you a leaflet to read. If you have any questions regarding the leaflet please ask the office staff.
