At Dothill Primary School we recognise the importance of giving our pupils a high-quality computing education to equip them with the skills and knowledge to understand the three key areas of computing (Computational Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy). Technology is everywhere and it is frequently evolving therefore it is now more important than ever that our children learn and understand how to use technology responsibly, positively and safely. Computing also ensures that pupils become digitally literate where they are able to use and express themselves and develop their ideas through, information and communication technology – at a level suitable for the future workplace and as active participants in a digital world.
