We would like to invite you to a phonics information meeting to share how we teach reading at Dothill. We teach phonics using the Ruth Miskin scheme “Read Write Inc”. It is very important to us that parents help support reading at home so we would like to take this opportunity to give parents an understanding of how the scheme works and how you can help support your child with reading at home.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 9th October at 2.30pm; once the meeting is finished you will be able to take your child home.
We understand that not all parents who would like to attend are available. We will share any presentations used in the meeting on the school website.
